 Mashhad Prison: Mahboubeh Shaabani, one of those arrested during the December protests, is facing the charge of “enmity against God” (moharebeh) and is at risk of being sentenced to death.

Mahboubeh Shaabani, 30 years old, is among those detained during last year’s December protests and is currently being held in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. She has been charged with the serious offense of moharebeh and is at risk of receiving or having a death sentence carried out against her.
